At Auto Motive, you can chose from four different service options; Interim, Full, Major or Manufacturers specific.
An interim service covers oil and oil filter, door locks lubricated, lights checked, levels checked and topped up plus a full vehicle inspection. For full details of what is undertaken on an interim service, click here.
A Full service includes everything covered by the interim service plus air filter, pollen filter, fuel filter if diesel engined or spark plugs if petrol engined. For full details, click here.
A Major service includes everything covered by the full service plus, coolant change, brake/clutch fluid change, engine oil flush prior to oil change, fuel treatment added to fuel tank and an air conditioning/heater matrix treatment to refresh the car and prevent/kill bacterial growth. Manufacturers specific servicing is normally used where the vehicle is within the manufacturers warranty period, thereby maintaining warranty cover but can be used at any time in a vehicles life. If you require a Manufacturers specific service, we will need to identify the exact requirements for the age and mileage of your vehicle using our Technical Database. We can then price the parts required (can be manufacturers original or after market as you wish) and the labour and quote you for the service. You will be provided with a Manufacturers compliant service tick sheet detailing the work carried out.
For all services, your service guide will be stamped as appropriate, your service light will be reset where applicable and you will be provided with a service tick sheet commensurate with the service that has been carried out.
As part of all services, we will check to see if any additional, non routine items such as timing belts are due for change. We will report these items to you at the time of service.
