VERY IMPORTANT PLEASE READ THOROUGHLY

Key Drop Off

Dropping off your car for service, repair or MOT.

Please thoroughly clean your key with sanitiser before placing it on the table in the centre of reception.

Do not cross the barrier, please hold any conversation required from a distance.

While You Wait

Please note that we currently have limited space for “While U wait” operations. We are allowing a maximum of 3 people in our reception area as this is currently the maximum we can allow whilst maintaining social distancing rules. Everyone, except those with a proven medical exemption (please bring written confirmation of this) entering our building is expected to wear a face covering. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Before commencing work on your car.

Prior to commencing work on your car, we will clean it using sanitising, antiviral wipes and sprays. In addition, we will treat the interior of your car with a nebuliser disinfectant treatment. This circulates atomised disinfectant around your car which helps to disinfect all surfaces inside the car. This treatment currently represents the best available and helps to protect our Staff and you. The sanitising process incurs an additional cost of £10+Vat which represents our cost price for the treatment. Unfortunately, this process and the charge is not optional.

Payment

In order to minimise human to human contact, we are encouraging all customers to pay their bills remotely over the phone or by BACS, before collecting their cars.

If you must pay with cash, we will ask you to count the money in our view and to then place the money inside a sealable plastic bag (which we can provide) before passing it to us. No change will be given.

Collecting your car

On completion of the works on your car, we will have re-cleaned your car using the same process applied before commencing work. The cost of this is included in the £10+VAT charge.

Courtesy Cars

If you are using a courtesy car, it will have been sanitised using disinfectant, antiviral impregnated cloths and/or wipes/sprays.
Please note that we are not currently enforcing signatures on our loan agreement. However, this does not mean that you are not liable for any damage incurred or for replacing fuel used. In taking a courtesy car, you are agreeing to all the terms included in the agreement, a copy of which is located on the handover desk in reception. A copy to take away is available on request.

Before returning the courtesy car, please wipe down all touch points in the car to include steering wheel, indicator/washer stalks, gear stick, handbrake, interior mirror, door handles (inner and outer), seatbelt buckle/release button, seat position adjusters and anything else you may have touched. Please also ensure that you replace any fuel used and make sure you inspect the vehicle for any damage.

Finally, when everything has been cleaned and inspected, please lock the car, wipe the exterior door handle and clean the key. Then return the key to the desk in Reception. Hand sanitiser is available for your use.
